Here they come, the stupid people who mix up climate and weather!
These people need to calm down… it is not like we are getting snow in the middle of the Australian summer or something… oh wait.
Ok, it’s not like we have half of the US buried in snow right? Oh oh.
Final one: At least we are not having both snow and record breaking cold temperatures, right? Somethine like, “this was the coldest night in Ireland since the 1800s!”. Dang it!
But never despair boys. You can always take consolation that the temperature in the middle of the Pacific Ocean has increased 1.2 degrees and that sea levels will soon impact almost 12 thousand people in the Island of Tuvalu! (I heard that there are plans to bring those people to the US so we can open a new Walmart in North Dakota). Oooops, too soon, too soon…
By the way, here is my take on the real difference between climate and weather: Climate is the model scientists believe in. It looks great on pretty charts. Weather is the 2 feet of snow falling outside that was not predicted in any way by all those geniuses working in one of the 29 government agencies that should be tracking this.
Ho ho ho.
