This is a nice post on some of the usually ignored complexities about climate and how these conflict with the so called ‘consensus’ around global warming.
By the way, Watts Up With That? is a great blog for all us heretics who dare to question the religion of global warming. It is full of very interesting posts. For instance, this one that shows how December shaping up to be one of the coldest on record in the USA.
Not only that but October was the third coldest and wettest ever on record in the US. Don’t you think this should tell us something? Even if you stick indefinitely to the ‘whether is not climate’ tautology, this should at least show that our current models are full of holes.
By the way, I also learned on that post that there are models predicting 2010 to be the warmest year ever. Just like they did in 2007. Wait and see I guess.
Maybe we really should look into tying a carbon tax to actual temperatures… that would be one way to bring the issue of disparate measurements and flawed prediction models to the mainstream.
