This one great piece of wisdom comes from an article entitled “The end of American capitalism?”:
“In a slideshow presentation, Strauss-Kahn illustrated the global impact of the financial crisis. Countries in Africa, including many of those with some of the lowest levels of market and financial integration and openness, are now set to weather the crisis with the least amount of turbulence.”
Oh man, I do wonder why countries in Africa are the ones being affected the least by this crisis… How about this: Everyone who doesn’t know the answer for this will spend the next 6 months living in some of these African countries. That way they can avoid the crisis and leave us, poor outdated capitalists, living in our horrible has-been backward countries.
