It is also a brutal display of how people in the highest levels of government don’t understand the basic economics of supply and demand, and especially the implications of scarce resources.
Yes, the earth is warming. Yes, this might be happening faster because of us and polar bears might die. The question is not whether we want to do something about it, but what we can do about it.
