This kind of news actually help Palin solidify the image of down-to-earth, a woman like anyone else. The kind of image that attracts votes and to which candidates strive to achieve, even if distorting reality to get there (Obama as a black man that came from below, McCain as a working class dude).
I am not sure this is true. Besides, this seems to be a pretty sustained effort by the Dem machine. Now they are saying she was part of a “separatist movement”!
It is a matter of time until they want to impeach her
