Shock at polar bear’s carp kill

“Germany’s celebrity polar bear Knut has triggered a new controversy by fishing out 10 live carp from his moat and killing them in front of visitors.”

I don’t have time right now to go over the underlying importance of this kind of absurdity.

All I can say is that this is a great example of why the global warming banner is being used to justify so many crazy ‘reforms’. It’s not just that people are wrong… in many ways we are dealing with pampered elites that are so completely out of touch with reality that they want to promote a world that is truly impossible.

UPDATE:
Now we are also giving wetsuits to old Penguins. Not any Penguin of course: this one is “Pierre, a venerable 25 years old, was going bald, which left him with an embarrassingly exposed, pale pink behind.”

Clearly we couldn’t let that happen.
