Sometimes Brazilian politicians surprise me. Big time. I never expected the brazilian government to open their eyes to the stupidity of their limiting labor laws, but now they came up with an especially good one: Employers can’t ask for more than 6 months of experience.

Now one of the lawyers in the article says that not much will change, just the fact that employers won’t be able to advertise how much experience they want… But still, what kind of country allows this to go through into law? What is the logic behind it? Do they think experience is not important? Or that this somehow will help people looking for jobs? I honestly can’t figure out. Maybe some of my sophisticated lefty friends can help me translate this amazing display of bananaland logic to me.

Is this just pure populism or a sign of incredible high level of ignorance?
